Adventure Racing World Championships August 11, 2017 Over 30 teams from around the world will compete in this years Adventure Racing World Championship that will start at Jackson and end at Casper from August 10th through the 16th. Adventure Racing World Championships participants start the race at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort on Thursday. The race covers around 400-500 miles featuring biking, trekking, paddling, rappelling and orienteering. Participants of the Adventure Racing World Championships carry pack rafts down to the water to be inflated by hand. The participants will paddle down the Snake River to Hoback Junction. Swedish Armed Forces team including Emil Dahlqvist, Johan Hasselmark, John Karlsson, Malin Hjalmarsson make their way to the next checkpoint during the Adventure Racing World Championships in Hoback Wyoming. Team number 11 including Aaron Prince, Robert Lindberg, Josefina Wikberg, and Bjorn Rydvall finishes the boating part of the race and hikes up the hill to transition into dry clothes during the Adventure Racing World Championships in Hoback Wyoming. Participants deflate the pack rafts and transition into dry clothing to begin the 34-mile hike during the Adventure Racing World Championships. Bras For a Cause June 16, 2017 Kat Clauson struts back down the runway during Bras for a Cause Saturday night at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. The annual charity auction raised money for the Women’s Health Care Fund at St. John’s and Soroptimist of Jackson Hole. Augusta Friendsmith turns on music on her phone to dance along with the other models before the kick off of Bras for a Cause. Lisa Roarke and Erin Neary take a selfie while getting hair and makeup done at Champu Salon Saturday afternoon. Augusta Friendsmith and Lisa Roarke enjoy dinner along with the other models at Bin 22 before heading to Bras for a Cause. The models have only minutes to change bras in the office upstairs at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. Twenty-six bras were modeled and auctioned off. Kat Clauson and Tawnya Denice take a peak of who is on the runway. Tawnya Denice struts down the runway in the “Gentlemen Prefer Brunettes” bra.
